JOURNALISM
AUGMENTING COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUNESS
Alongside her distinguished academic and business career, Dr Dinah Ayman Ashour has
professional experience in journalism and editorial leadership, including leading the
English-language section of W Laha Wogoh Okhra (ولها وجوه أخرى), an Egyptian publication
that addresses women's rights, social affairs, culture, and empowerment.
Her journalistic contributions include published articles examining the evolution of
women's roles in Egyptian society, the historical contributions of influential Egyptian
women, and critical issues affecting women's rights and wellbeing.
This experience complements her interdisciplinary academic research and published
authorship, demonstrating her ability to communicate complex political, historical, and
socioeconomic issues to
wider audiences.
Her work across journalism, academic publishing, and authorship reflects a sustained
interest in the relationship between knowledge, public discourse, women's empowerment,
and social change.
